SUMMARY:Green Up Day
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, May 4th\, join fellow Vermonters in this unique\, statewide volunteer event to clean up our neighborhood roads. This is an opportunity for us to work together as a community and focus on a common goal — cleaning up our Guilford roads. If you can volunteer even for an hour or two to pick up roadside litter\, it will make a huge difference! \nStop by the BBCC from 8am – 5pm on Saturday May 4th. We will have Green Up trash bags and reflective vests for volunteers to pick up\, and the dump trucks will be parked there until 5pm to receive all the roadside trash you can gather in your bags. Note that you can also pick up Green Up trash bags ahead of time at the Town on any day they are open (Monday through Thursday\, 7am – 5pm). \nWe will also have a map where you can sign up for a road to clean. Or\, you can sign up for a road ahead of time by emailing greenupguilford@gmail.com or calling 617 596-0460. SUMMARY:Love Lost Diaries
DESCRIPTION:Love Lost Diaries is the work of Marc Considine\, a playwright in Hardwick\, in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom.  It will be directed by Julie Holland\, of Guilford\, with performances on May 3-5\, 2024. \nLove Lost Diaries is Guilford Center Stage’s 12th production.  Director Julie Holland has appeared as an actor in nine of the previous shows\, and stage-managed another.  Love Lost Diaries is a bittersweet story of a lifelong marriage that could have been so much more loving than it was\, if only the couple had communicated their feelings to each other.  The story of the married couple overlaps with the lives of three high school students who discover the diaries of the wife after she dies. \nLearn more about: Guilford Center Stage
