DESCRIPTION:Guilford/Vernon Business Breakfast June 8 \nGuilford and Vernon business owners are invited to attend a Business Breakfast hosted by the Guilford and Vernon Planning Commissions at The Broad Brook Community Center in Guilford on Saturday\, June 8th from 9 to 11 am. \nOur featured speaker is Adam Grinold\, Executive Director of the Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation. The BDCC is a private\, nonprofit economic development organization that fosters industrial and commercial growth throughout Southeastern Vermont. \nTopics for discussion include BDCC’s programs that provide managerial\, technical\, regulatory\, and/or financial support to local businesses; opportunities for businesses to connect with local youth via its Pipelines and Pathways Program; and its Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for Southern Vermont. \nCEDS aims to nurture an environment that encourages growth in Southern Vermont. Doing so could include regional strategies to address business\, physical\, and social infrastructure needs. Feedback from area businesses is an essential aspect of creating an effective strategic plan\, and the Business Breakfast is an opportunity to share your knowledge. \nBreakfast and childcare will be provided free of charge.
