DESCRIPTION:Start off the weekend right by joining your neighbors for a walk! The Recreation Commission is excited to start a weekly walking group to enjoy Guilford’s beautiful back-roads. This group will meet rain or shine\, as long as the roads are passable\, honoring the Norwegian saying “Det finnes ikke dårlig vær\, bare dårlig klær” / “There is no bad weather\, only unsuitable clothes”. \nThe group will meet on Saturday mornings at 7:30 am at the Covered Bridge. The time is subject to change as daybreak changes. The route\, from the Covered Bridge on Stage Rd in Guilford: \n\n1st Saturday of the month: east on Stage Rd\n2nd Saturday: west on Stage Rd\n3rd Saturday: north on Green River Rd\n4th Saturday: south on Green River Rd\n\nAnyone is welcome on these walks\, and people are free to walk at their own pace. Nice dogs on short leashes are also welcome. We hope you join us! \n  \nIf you would like to see another walk organized in town\, let us know when and where you would like to meet! \n  \n

This event is free and open to all.
