Kripalu-style yoga is a form of Hatha Yoga that is a nonsectarian and nondogmatic vinyasa (flow) style class. Modification prompts will be provided for those who would like to challenge themselves or those who would like accessibility options for their body. A waiver to participate is needed (available at the door). \nThis class is accessible to people of all abilities and experience. Kripalu-style yoga is a form of Hatha Yoga that is a nonsectarian and nondogmatic vinyasa (flow) style class. Each class includes a centering pranayama (breathing exercise)\, warm-ups\, asana (posture) sequences\, and a final guided shavasana (relaxation). Modification prompts will be provided for those who would like to challenge themselves or those who would like accessibility options for their body. Discover the mind-body connection\, encourage stress reduction\, and improve self-regulation and physical health. Guided by Lindsay Parise\, a yoga practitioner of over two decades\, who is excited to offer this community-based class. \nParticipants should bring their own mat and any props they might need\, though a few will be available to borrow. Chairs will be available if this modification is needed. \nIf there is enough momentum for this class\, we hope to be able to offer it into 2025.
