2025 Property Tax Bills

The Property Tax bills are generally delivered to the Post Office at the end of July/ beginning of August. If you do NOT receive your tax bill by the end of August, please let us know.

If you have changed your address, please update the address with the Town
Office if you have not already done so.

The Annual Deadline for “on time” filing of your Homestead Declaration and Property Tax Credit Claim (HS-122) with the State of Vermont Department of Tax  is April 15th. After April 15th a late filling fee will be added based on 8% of the education portion of your property bill. 

To be eligible for a tax credit on your tax bill, you must:

  1. Declare your homestead
  2. File Forms HS-122 and HI-144 (Household Income)
  3. Your income must be below the eligibility cap. For 2024 the cap is $115,000.
