GUILFORD CONSERVATION COMMISSION MINUTES

Called to order 5:31 pm

May minutes approved unanimously.  June- Weeks Forest work session in lieu of regular meeting

Patti Smith – Discussion re development of a Guilford Action Task Force for Beaver Policy, Education and possible Beaver Deceiver Installation at the Fairgrounds. To include collaboration between Road Crew and a Fluvial Geomorphologist specializing in history of beaver- human conflict. GCC to be town co-sponsor. A grant -funded project.

Weeks Forest Trail Guide- map, photos and text to be updated by subcommittee, and sent to Linda Lembke for reprinting. Up to $125 authorized by GCC to print 400-500 copies.

Natural Resource Inventory (NRI) printing -due to demand for printed copies, GCC unanimously authorized the online printing of 30 copies for $390. To be sold for $20 each, with excess revenue to go to the Guilford Conservation Fund.

Updates- Town Office ash tree re-inoculated (every 2 years) against Emerald Ash Borer.
