BOA MEMBERS PRESENT: Sara Coffey (JP), Richard Smith (Lister), Verandah Porche (Selectboard), Shawn Murphy (Lister), Stephen Soszynski (Lister), Roberta Bremmer (JP), Mike Szostak (Selectboard), Don McLean (JP), Sheila Morse (Selectboard), Skye Morse (JP), Elly Majonen, (Treasurer)

PRESENT VIA ZOOM: Akiva (Todd) Mandell (JP), Anna Klein (JP), Cathi Wilken, (JP) 

PRESENT IN PERSON: Bruce Richardson, Lisa Barry (representative for George E. and Patricia B. Houghton.)

Draft Minutes

  1. Call to Order by Ellie Majonen at 10:32 a.m.

  2. Elect a Chair
    Motion: Verandah moved to elect Don McLean, and Roberta seconded. The vote was by roll call. All were in favor, no objections, no abstentions. Motion passed.

  3. Adopting Rules of Procedures.
    The rules were read by the Chair. Motion: Sheila moved to adopt the Rules of Procedures. Sara seconded. No discussion. The vote was by roll call. All were in favor, no objections, no abstentions. Motion passed.

  4. Abatement Hearings 
    First hearing: George E. and Patricia B. Houghton of 495 Weatherhead Hollow Road, Parcel#451. The Chair recognized Lisa Barry as the applicants’ representative. Lisa took the oath, reviewed the details of the application, and responded to questions posed by BOA. The BOA requested additional information from Lisa.

    Second hearing: Bruce and Debra Richardson of 318 East Mountain Road, Parcel#931. The Chair recognized Bruce Richardson. Bruce took the oath, presented their application, and responded to questions posed by the BOA.

  5. Executive Session for Decision (1 V.S.A. § 313 (a)(1)) occurred 11:40 a.m. – 12:25 p.m.

  6. Adjournment
    Motion: Sheila moved to adjourn and Sara seconded. The vote was by roll call. All were in favor, no objections, no abstentions. Motion passed. The meeting adjourned at 12:30 p.m.
