The Guilford Gazette is an all-volunteer quarterly magazine mailed to every Guilford household. The Gazette’s goal is to publish articles that highlight the wonderful things happening in our town. It provides a way for people in Guilford to communicate about local interests and goings-on, as well as to share photos and milestones. The Gazette is published four times a year in February, May, August and November.

If you are new to town, or have not been receiving your Gazette, please email us at gazettevt@gmail.com with your name and address.

Guilford Gazette Current and Past Issues:

Submissions to the Guilford Gazette

We happily consider any and all submissions from those who live and work in Guilford, with a priority on printing submissions that aim to bring the community together and highlight all of the wonderful things happening in our town.

Please email submissions to gazettevt@gmail.com using the guidelines below. You may also choose to send a printed copy of your submission to the Gazette c/o the Guilford Free Library (4024 Guilford Center Rd, Guilford, VT 05301).

  • Short articles of no more than 600 words (500 if you include a photo) in an editable digital format (Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Pages, a text doc or straight in the body of the email — not a PDF)
  • Milestones — births, deaths, big birthdays, anniversaries, marriages, graduations, etc.
  • Photos from around town (high-resolution please) with captions and photo credit information
  • Please be aware that it is the responsibility of those submitting photographs to make sure they have permission to print

Submissions are not a guarantee of publication. We welcome new perspectives, ideas and stories, but we generally turn down contentious and divisive subject matter.
