The joint Special meeting was called to order by Jeannette Tokarz at 6:31 pm in the
Town Office and online via zoom. The meeting was recorded for posting on the Guilford
Town Website.
Linda Lembke introduced our 3 guest presenters and reviewed the purpose of the
meeting: to provide information about options and tools for land conservation; to further
our work in considering Guilford’s future; to become a resource for Guilford land
owners.
Each of the three presenters gave us an overview of their organization, responding to
questions we had sent them:
– What is the mission of your organization?
– Who/what is your target audience?
– What are examples of your current or recent conservation projects in our region?
– Where can we learn more about the work of your organization?
– Does your organization provide financial support?
– What is a potential vision for Guilford that you consider to be achievable?

The presenters then responded to questions from the floor, including addressing the
concerns of a Guilford landowner about conserving a specific property.
The meeting was adjourned at 8 pm
The presenters provided supplementary resources in the form of slides and documents
which the Commissions hope to share on the Guilford Town Website.
