 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm at Broad Brook Community Center

The Guilford Conservation Commission will NOT hold a regular business meeting in January  2026.  There will NOT be a meeting on third Thursday, January 15

In place of a business meeting we will host a public presentation about beavers at the Broad  Brook Community Center.  This program is the first in a series of grant-sponsored educational  events presented by Guilford’s Beaver Action Group, a committee made up of Conservation  Commissioners and members of the public.

A Beaver Year  on Wednesday  January 28, 7:00-8:30 pm.  BEEC naturalist Patti Smith has  studied a beaver colony in her backyard for 18 years and cared for injured and orphaned  beavers. She will share photos, videos, and stories about beavers and other animals she has met  along the way.
