Town of Guilford Planning Commission Meeting DRAFT MINUTES
Wednesday, March 27, 6:30 pm 
236 School Road, Guilford, VT 

Agenda 

I. Call to Order – 
Meeting called to order at 6:32pm. Present from Planning Commission were Jethro Eaton, Charles Light, Julie Holland Jeanette Tokarz, Nathaniel Matthiesen, Christina Belogour and Marty Ramsburg, Zon Eastes Selectboard Liaison

II. Recognition of Public –
Dan Mallach from DuBois and King,Sara Noble also joined in via zoom

III. Rules of Procedure –
Robert’s Rules of Order

IV. Changes to Agenda Order none

V. Approval of minutes March 13, 2024- 
Marty motioned and Jethro seconded to approve the minutes from March 13th, 2024. All in favor of motion.

VII. New Business 

  • Joint meeting planned with Vernon Planning Commission Wednesday, April 17th to be in Vernon at the Governor Hunt house instead of Guilford PC meeting April 24th. Next Guilford Planning commission meeting will happen May 8th. 
  • Business Breakfast/Economic Vitality- discussed having the BDCC present on April 13th unless they are available May18th to give us more time to advertise the event publicly, if not we will go forward with the April 17th date at the BBCC but email invite the businesses in Guilford. Discussed providing childcare for this event.
    • Collaborate with BDCC and ask them to present in what ways they can help Guilford businesses
      • Engagement with youth
      • Upcoming Pipelines and Pathways Programs events, High school program called Reality Fair
      • Youth Career Bootcamp/Youth Internship program 
  • Advisory Committees will be announced for appointment by the selectboard
    • Algiers Village Traffic Calming and Safety Committee 
    • Trails Committee 

VIII. Strategic Planning Process: Dubois and King- Dan Mallach shared his screen and we  reviewed the Goals, Strategies and Actions chart. Went over as a group and reworded, slimmed down and clarified the chart. 

VIII. Adjournment Charlie motioned to adjourn and Jeanette seconded. Meeting was adjourned at 8:32pm.
