GUILFORD CEMETERY COMMISSION MEETING
THURSDAY 18 JANUARY 2024 9:30 AM TOWN OFFICE

Cemetery Commissioners Present:
Nancy Detra, Kyle Parker, Verandah Porche, Carol Schnabel
Absent: Eric Morse 

Call to Order:
The meeting was called to order at 9:30 a.m.

Approval of Minutes:
The November Minutes were approved as submitted

New Business:
We talked about our goals for this winter, to get our information organized in such a manner so that we can easily access information about gravesites, those bought but not in use yet, those in use, and those that are being considered. Some old sites may be difficult to document.  We hope to consolidate information from Eric.  

VOCA Newsletter- Carol reported that the next VOCA meting will be in Vergennes on Saturday May 4 2024.  Social hour from 9-10.  Business Meeting 10-12.  Lunch 12-12:45.  Featured speaker (To be decided) 12:45.  Anyone interested should send in their reservation by April 27.  

We talked about Commissioner terms coming up for re-election.

Old Business:
The Blanchard tree has not been removed yet.  It depends on weather. We discussed leaving some of the stump.  

We checked in on the budget process so far.

Actions to be taken:
Kyle will check in with Elly about dedicating more space to our files in the vault.  Kyle will also check in with Eric about files that he has.  Kyle will also check back with Anson Baldwin about Blanchard tree.

Carol will call Eric about commissioner ideas.
