Plant Swap with Spring Yard Games

Neighborhood Roots will be hosting their annual Plant Swap and seed exchange on Saturday May 9th at the Guilford Pavillion at 10am. This year’s plant swap will be a collaboration with the Guilford Recreation Commission who will be hosting yard games during the plant swap. Folks are invited to bring houseplants, seedling seeds, division or other useful gardening materials they are trying to get rid of or exchange for something that better suits your needs. You do not need to bring anything in order to participate. This event is open to anyone, and everyone interested in giving plants new homes. The exchange will be on a first come first serve basis, so we encourage folks to show up right on time if you hope to find a new plant companion. The event will start by gathering and sharing what we all brought and then folks will have the opportunity to exchange and share.
