Update on the Friends’ group:  we are looking into hiring a professional consultant to help guide this relationship.

Co-Chair report:  Laura met with Amber earlier this month.

Old business:  There will be festivities at the Library on July 4th, in conjunction with what is planned for the Meeting House, Community Center, and the PlayScape that afternoon. The Library will be open during this time.     Amber noted that the Dance Party already scheduled for July 3rd might serve well to kick off the festivities.    The Library will be serving popsicles, outside of the Library itself this year.  Jeannette will be contacting Ali from the Guilford Country Store about ordering the popsicles.

New business:   we discussed the Trustee vacancy process.  There will be an Executive Committee session taking place at the end of the next board meeting on July 21st.

Friends group:  they had their Executive Committee meeting scheduled for the next day:  June 17th.

There will be a clear presence of the Friends at the Library on July 4th.
