This meeting is being called to begin the re-organization of the Prudential Committee and determine its future direction. Any members of the Algiers Fire District #1 may attend. *

- Define physical Boundaries of AFD#1
- Brief History
- Copy of bylaws – governance for the organization, important take aways for tonight
-Must follow VT’s open meeting law requirements
-Regular meetings – suggest monthly for now
-Number, Election, and terms of officers
– Treasurer, Clerk, Delinquent Collector, Chair, Vice-Chair - Duties of officers
- Immediate goals –
- First meeting – to create a slate of officers/representatives (5) for district to elect to Prudential Committee at the next warned meeting (determine day & time)
- Second meeting –
-Install officers
-Establish regular meeting days/time
-Discuss regular business items
-Warrants
-Billing –quarterly
-Delinquencies
-Budget
-Annual transfers for maintenance
-USDA Reporting
3. Near future discussions for the Prudential Committee –
- Keep as is?
- Legal options – continue to engage Atty Bob Fisher?
- Continue agreement with the Town of Guilford? Allow on-line payments?
- Include in conversations – Selectboard, TOG, TOB – Dept of Public Works ?
