Culvert #5 on Slate Rock Road over the Falls River is undersized and requires replacement according to a 2022 VTrans hydraulic study.
Dubois & King Inc has developed preliminary plans for options to replace the existing culvert with a new structure that meets state standards and improves resiliency during flood water events, reducing future wash outs of Slate Rock Road. This presentation is to inform the public on the preliminary designs for a replacement, contingent on approval by the Guilford Selectboard.
This project is expected to go to construction in 2027.
