Auditors Meeting Minutes 7.22.25

AUDITORS MEETING

The Auditors of the Town of Guilford met by zoom on Tuesday, July 22, at 4:03 PM. Attending were Lyndsey Mitchell, Elly Majonen, and Cathi Wilken taking notes.

The first thing we discussed was the ARPA report, which Lyndsey had requested. Elly explained the report, Lyndsey asked about the disposition of the accrued interest and later on it was determined that the best way to know that is to ask Bonnie, the professional auditor, at our meeting with her the week of 26-29 August.

We then discussed the Waterline report. Discussed the year end (June 30) budget status reports of the highway fund  (009) and the general fund (003). Discussed changes in the reports from April to June, the BCA grant, EOY adjustments done by Bonnie, and the Tax Sale.

Elly will set up a meeting for the Town Auditors with Bonnie during the last week of August. We’ll then have an organizational meeting together in early November.

Lyndsey says she’s looking forward to the VLCT training in October.

The meeting ended at 4:54 when it was interrupted by Georgie the Cat.
