GUILFORD, VERMONT

The Board of Civil Authority is hereby noticed to meet Wednesday, February 7 at 5:30pm at the Guilford Town Office, located at 236 School Road and accessible via Zoom link below:

AGENDA

1. Call to Order

2. Any changes to the agenda

3. Tabulator use for Local, School & Presidential Primary ballots

4. Discuss why voters must pick Democrat or Republican ballot – Secretary of State flyer

5. Checklists: Democrat of Republican

6. Contested candidates cannot serve as Election Officials (except JP’s, TC, Treasurer or Moderator, etc.) 

7. Processing absentee ballots on Town Meeting Day

8. Designate two JP’s to carry ballots to infirm/housebound voters on Election Day.

9. What to do when absentee ballots are used to vote at the polls – highlight name

10. Volunteers – will be given oaths.

11. Poll worker schedules for Town Meeting Day (2-4 hour shifts?) Polls open from 10AM – 7 PM

12. Ballot kiosk – will be opened when first early/absentee ballot is issued 

13. Areas for non-voters, media, poll watchers – how do we keep track of voters vs. visitors?

14. Adjournment
