4th of July Picnic

Join us from 11am – 2pm for a 4th of July Picnic, in celebration of the Broad Brook Grange’s 150th anniversary, featuring delicious food prepared by the Guilford Country Store, served under a big tent on the BBCC lawn, bingo, strawberry shortcake, yard games and more! The schedule of events for the day is as follows:

11AM: Guilford Center Meeting House

Reading of the Declaration of Independence

Speech by Grange Master Bobbie Fitch Haumann

Poem reading by Verandah Porche

11:30AM: Musical procession from the Meeting House to the Broad Brook Community Center

11:30AM – 1:30PM: BBQ at the Broad Brook Community Center prepared by the Guilford Country Store

12PM – 2PM: Bingo & Strawberry Shortcake in the dining room at the Broad Brook Community Center

11:30AM – 2PM: Yard Games at the Guilford Playscape

Also ongoing music on the porch, a historic flag display in the Meeting House, a display on the history of the Grange, family photo sessions, a Group Art Show and more!
