- FYE Considerations DISCUSSION
- Budget Status
Highway revenue is higher than anticipated. The FY26 audit will be complete in August and we can forecast any shortfall based on that. Last August we discovered a three-year error resulting in revenue shortfalls in FY 24, 25 & 26. (See addendum) We are trying to avoid a revenue shortfall. 010 was healthy enough to be used for two truck purchases. GRCB was created in 2013 with a dollar amount stipulated by voters. Therefore that is a fund the SB doesn’t have authority to reallocate those funds.
In August we can choose to make transfers based on actual numbers. We do not have to go into debt, raise taxes, lower services.
