Conservation Commission Special Meeting Agenda 06.07.25
June 7, 2025
9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m
The Guilford Conservation Commission will host a work session on the Carriage Trail at the Weeks Memorial Forest, Carpenter Hill, Guilford the morning of June 7, from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. The public is warmly invited to help Conservation Commissioners pull up invasive plants such as garlic mustard and bittersweet, and work to control poison ivy that is close to the paths. We will also clear fallen trees and weed whack along the trail if necessary.
Meet at the trailhead on Carpenter Road at 9:00 a.m. We recommend bringing work gloves, tools, hats, water, insect repellant, plastic bags to dispose of pulled up plants that should not be left along the trail.
This work session replaces our regular June business meeting, which will NOT be held on June 19.
