GUILFORD CEMETERY COMMISSION MEETING
Thursday 21 September 2023 9:30 am Burrows Plain Cemetery

Cemetery Commissioners Present:
Nancy Detra, Eric Morse, Kyle Parker, Verandah Porche, Carol Schnabel

Call to Order:
The meeting was called to order at 9:35 am

Recognition of Public:
We welcomed Karyn Tyler.

Approval of Minutes:
The minutes were approved as submitted.

New Business:
We discussed the Conflict of Interest policy and agreed that the current one that the Town has in place is sufficient.

We walked up to Burrows Plain Cemetery and spent the time clearing away branches and cleaning it up and getting to know the lay of the land.  A few of the commissioners had never been there before.

We put back a sign that had fallen down.

Old Business:
Carol reported on stones that could use attention at Wilkins Hill and Lee Cemeteries.

Actions to be Taken:
Carol will contact a family interested in a cemetery plot.

Adjournment:
The meeting was adjourned at 11:30 am
