Notice of Public Hearing to consider changing the name of South Stony Hill Road

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER CHANGING
THE NAME OF SOUTH STONY HILL ROAD

Interested persons and persons owning or interested in lands through which South Stony Hill Road, (a Class 3 road, part of TH34) may pass or abut are hereby warned of a public hearing to be held by the Selectboard of the Town of Guilford to consider the renaming of the Class 3 Town maintained section of South Stony Hill Road, and to receive testimony from any interested parties.  The Selectboard shall issue a written decision within 60 days of the hearing. 

Date of Hearing: Monday, February 26, 2024

Time of Hearing: 6:30 p.m. during the regular Selectboard meeting

Location of Hearing: Guilford Town Office, 236 School Road, Guilford, VT 05301-8319, and on Zoom

Description of Highway: South Stony Hill Road, a Class 3 road, from its intersection with Weatherhead Hollow Road to the end of the town-maintained section approximately 0.04 miles (211.2 feet) northwest. The remainder of the road is Class 4, not maintained by the Town.
