  1. 2024 Strategic Plan Goal #3: Host Community Conversations around land use, housing, conservation, and planning issues, and review the available tools for conserving property as well as creating capacity for desirable growth.
    1. Facilitating community dialogue regarding Guilford’s vision for its future. -40 minutes

  1. “The Real Issue It’s usually not the project that fails…It’s trust.
  2. Trust means people believe:
    1.  They are being heard
    2. Information is being shared honestly
    3. Decisions are not predetermined
    4. Leaders are acting in good faith
    5. The process is fair, even if they disagree with the outcome

Trust doesn’t mean everyone agrees. It means people believe the process is fair, their voice matters, and the outcome wasn’t decided without them.”

How does the PC, possibly partnering with the SB, define a community’s  ‘Shared problem->shared understanding->shared direction.’

    1. Presentation regarding the  process to ‘reconcile’ the Goals, Strategies and Actions from the Strategic Plan with the Town Plan, 2022-2030 and mapping out a proposed workflow 2026-2030-40 minutes
  2. PC ‘Charter’ creation-2 minutes
  3. Article for inclusion in the August edition of the Guilford Gazette. The article is intended to inform residents of new information on the PC landing page ‘Land Use Topics.’ -3 minutes
